Canon and Nikon has released one "action" DSLR each this week.

Canon the $1800 "half frame" 7DII and Nikon the D750 "full frame" for
$2200 (B&H).

Who do you think will get "mojo" among the young and budding?

D750 is mid-range, 7D is low-end in the segment.

Nikon D610 - D750 - D810
Canon 7D - 6D - 5D

It would even be unfair to compare the 7D to the D610 since the D610 is
full frame. The 7D should be grouped with the D7100 if anything.

The 7D2 is pithed against the D750 price-vise and targets the same
photographers. It's a half-frame version of the 5D3. The 6D is another
kind of camera. The D7100 is the teddybear for those who can't let go...

Uh, the D7100 beats the 7D in most areas. The 7D has slightly better ISO
performance and shoots at 10fps compared to 6fps for the D7100, other than
that, it's utterly trounced.

The D7100 has higher resolution, better LCD screen, longer battery life,
dual SDHC card slots, weighs less and is smaller.

In fact, there isn't much that differ between the D7100 and D750 apart from
full frame sensor. The D750 shoots in 1080p60 which neither the D7100 or 7D
does. Of course, the D750 is even lighter than both and also slightly
smaller than the Canon - and has twice the battery life.

Why can't you read?? Is that why you deleted the quoted material where I
responded to your idiotic comment that the 7D shouldn't be compared to the
superior D7100? Must be.

Keep trolling, Android. It's what you do best.

The original post, and I'm the OP was referring to the newly released 7D
mark II. It' has a new sensor and AF system. The D7100 is legacy
equipment...

And is still better than the 7D in many ways. Go figure. That's the point,
remember? The question isn't whether one would choose the 7D or the D750,
since the natural competitor for the 7D is the legacy D7100 that's still
better than the 7D.
